Lazy Summer Days - Scrapping Outback September Challenge

September 2014 "White with a Twist" Blog Challenge...

We have decided to continue this month with the "WHITE WITH A TWIST" Challenge for our September challenge.....

So welcome to our September picture inspiration Challenge everyone!
This month we want you to use White combined with the colours in this cocktail, hence the name "White with a TWIST"

So the challenge is:
Create a layout inspired by ALL the colours in this cocktail and you MUST use at least one piece of chipboard.

You must use WHITE combined with the colours above. You can use printed paper as long as these colours are the main focus of the paper. There can be other colours on the printed paper, but not too much to take away from the colours in the inspiration picture.

You can use anything to create these colours like mists, inks or paints.

You can use a small amount of black/brown just for a little stamping, inking, journaling or just as a small accessory, however it is NOT to be the main focus of your layout.

You can use as little or alot of each colour, but every colour or shade of that colour in the picture MUST be used. You can use varied shades of the colours - it depends on the inspiration that you get from the picture.

Rules:
Create a layout following the above criteria
After you have created a LO for the challenge please upload it to your blog, online gallery or Facebook page -
make sure you mention us and link back to our blog challenge.  Then add your challenge link to us using the correct Mister Linky on the right hand side of our BLOG.

Karen McLaughlin ....
I have been married to my best friend for just over 23 years. We have a 21 year old daughter and a 16 year old son and of course they are my main subjects to scrap. We emigrated from England 17 years ago and now live on the Central Coast, NSW. I have been scrapbooking for around 9 years. I started when a friend invited me over to ‘have a go’ after I had been admiring her pages. I have been addicted every since. I get my inspiration from photos, magazines, blogs and just being around other scrapbookers is always inspiring. I would describe my scrapping style as layered (bit shabby but tend to try anything new). I see my scrapping as being a lifetime diary.

And to get you started we have some wonderful examples from our very talented Design Team including our NEW DT girls.

First up, we have Karen McLaughins very first Challenge sample for us....... I am sure you would agree that she has done an amazing job. Karen has created her layout using printed paper and flowers as her source of colour inspiration...

I have also used the Prima Paper Clip #57319 - Typewriter Keys. The paper is Manor House from the Beautiful You - Fresh and New and Beautiful You - In My Thoughts.  and the flowers arePrima from the Time Traveller - Time is Up Flowers Also on the page is the little Chipboard Love You Heart - Mini. All these products can be bought at Scrapping Outback.
