Beauty - ARTastic
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month here in Australia which is an annual campaign to increase awareness of the disease. I am sure there are few of us who have not been touched by breast cancer in some way amongst our families, friends, neighbours and work colleagues. So this month we are using PINK on our entries in support of this cause. I urge each and every one of you to be vigilant in your self awareness and care - early detection saves lives.

Totally Awesome
Hi Karen McLaughlin back with you today to show you the page I have done for this month's Challenge. My inspiration for this challenge is the colour and the chevrons. The chipboard I have used for this page is the title Totally Awesome, Arrow Set, Triangle Set and I also used two stencils which wereArrows in Time and the Chevron Stencil. On the chipboard I painted gesso, then painted black and added dimensional magic and while wet I added some blue prills just to give it more texture. Thanks for looking.

Delightful
Hi My name is Karen McLaughlin and I am very pleased to be on the A2Z Design Team as I just loooove chipboard. This is my first creation and hope you like it. When using chipboard I first cover all my chipboard in gesso just to get the chipboard to white so any colour I put on top turns out bright. The chipboard I have used on this page is the Corset Lacing Shape, the Hummingbird Set, the title, the heart stencil and the flourish I used was Doodlet 26. For the Corset lacing and hummingbird I also used texture paste just to give the chipboard a bit more dimension. For the flourish I cut it in half and placed either side of the photo. Thanks for looking.

Every Day is a Gift
Hello A2Z Scraplet Fans. Karen back with you to show you my interpretation of this month's Challenge. My inspiration is from the colours, leaves and dots in the sky. For this page I have used Leaf Litter 6x6 Background Shape. I love this piece of chipboard. It would be great to cut this up but wasn't brave enough this time. I also used the wordlet - Every Day is a Gift. I love this saying. For this chipboard I painted it with gesso first then I used different shades of Gelatos and blended with a bit of water and my finger. Thanks for looking and I hope you have a great week.

Heavenly - Karen McLaughliin
Hi Karen back today to show you a page where I have used lots of lovely A2Z products. The word heavenly is from the Bliss, Heavenly Calligraphy Set, Fine Scribble Circle Frame and the Floralette - Butterfly 08 . With this piece of chipboard I cut it in half and placed the bottom half under the circle frame. I pained all my chipboard white with gesso, then added texture paste, then I painted the colour required and when dry just added some Kindyglitz and then dotted on some liquid pearls. Thank you for looking and I hope you have a great week.
